My time in Hong Kong is now over, I’ve departed the island, but my personal travel fun can now begin as I’m headed to Taiwan to attend a wedding and see old friends enroute back to the US. Looking back, my researching weeks in Hong Kong flew by so fast. At times it was hard, sometimes isolating, but mostly it was super fun. I researched, I hiked, I met new people, I made huge progress on my research project, I wandered through villages and climbed the steep stairs on Hong Kong city. And I sweated, a lot. Hong Kong is an amazing city with so many things to see, food to try, markets to browse and history to discover. Looking forward to another chance to return in the future.
